Ameritech reroofed 10 buildings at South Bay Correctional Facility as a Hurricane Irma insurance claim. The project started as two buildings & through documentation has expanded to include all roofs & raising curbs around HVAC units on all buildings.

PANAMA CITY, FLORIDA

Ameritech was requested by the client from the South Bay project to go to Panama City & mitigate damage sustained by Hurricane Michael. Ameritech successfully dried & then re-roofed 5 buildings.

MARCO ISLAND, FLORIDA

The Commodore Club of Marco Island is a four-building condo association on the Gulf of Mexico. They sustained damage to their shingle roofs and wanted to upgrade to metal. The difference in the reimbursable amount & the price for the new roof was successfully negotiated between Ameritech & the Commodore Club & has added both visual & financial value to the property.

Ameritech reroofed multiple buildings on Marathon Key, Ramrod Key & Stock Island for Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority. Projects were both pitched & flat roof, metal & TPO systems.

2008 / 2009

OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA

American Fruit and Produce was a Hurricane Wilma insurance claim that had not been settled for over a year when Ameritech became involved. At the start of Ameritech’s forensic investigation, the claim for storm damage was approximately $1,000,000. After Ameritech’s documentation, the final claim amount was in excess of $12,000,000. Ameritech’s knowledge of design, engineering, manufacturing, and installation principals was the key component in providing the insurance carrier with the necessary information to provide their client with the funds required to bring the property to pre-loss condition.

DAVE, FLORIDA

Conquistador Apartments (now operating as Sunset Palms Apartment Rentals) was a Hurricane Wilma insurance claim. The claim started at around $1,000,000 & settled at $6,700,000 with a total redesign including nearly 3 miles of 3 foot structural steel parapet wall. The roof was a combination of both modified bitumen and standing seam metal.

GULFPORT, MISSISSIPPI

ANI Pharmaceuticals had failed to make a successful insurance claim after Hurricane Katrina until Ameritech was able to document the extent of the loss. Ameritech designed & reconstructed approximately 60,000 square feet both structural steel.
